Povrchová úprava starého dřeva

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of suitable surface treatment on the surface of degraded wood by atmospheric corrosion for indoor use. In this thesis three types of paint are compared. The paints are nitrocellulose coating, water-borne coating and two-component polyurethane paint. Surface treatments are evaluated for physical and mechanical properties of the surface. The physical and mechanical properties of the degraded surface are compared with the surface of fresh spruce wood prior to the application of paints and after the application of paints. This bachelor thesis also explains the issue of atmospheric degradation of wood and properties of degraded surface.

The bachelor thesis deals with the production of interior element using old wood. Opportunity to reuse material that would otherwise be considered waste. The theoretical part is processed in the form of history and requirements for table furniture. Furthermore, the theoretical part is processed in the form of comprehensive review of coffee tables and interior elements that are using an old wood. It compares current production and then proposes a conference table with used old wood with a proposal for the production process, in which a prototype of the designed conference table with drawing documentation and material cost calculation is made. The aim of this work is to apply the results achieved in practice. The work uses professional books and available internet resources.

Pevnost lepeného spoje spárovky ze starého dřeva

The diploma thesis deals with the problem of suitable adhesive for gluing of joints from old, degraded, spruce and fir wood for the production of visible front sur-faces of wooden furniture. Two types of adhesives are compared. Polyvinyl acetate glue and hare glue. Mechanical properties are evaluated on the bonded joints. There are compared mechanical properties of old spruce and fir glued wood with fresh spruce and fir glued wood.

Návrh atypického nábytku pro rekreační objekt

This thesis deals with quality, safety and aesthetic requirements of furniture used in holiday houses, and the possibilities of reusing old lumber. These observations are applied when making concept of the interior reconstruction in cottage in Beskydy. There are proposed not just changes of furniture, but changes of space layout and circulation areas including changes of conversion. On top of that was chosen one component -- bed, which has made blueprints and financial calculation.
